Lost and Alone

i feel the night closing in on me

i know that you are not here

i feel so lost and alone

i could cry..

but its no use

what good are tears to a broken soul

a soul shattered and alone

i cant have you here

and i cant be there

you are working

i should be sleeping

we both know im not good on my own

we both know im falling a part

i can feel the tears

they slide down my cheeks

they sting more then being alone

alone and lost with out you

i cant find you in the night

im lost and alone

i cant stop the tears

they come with all my fears

i will try to be strong

i will try to move on

another tear slides down

i turn to walk away
